As a strategic partner, she collaborates with DE&I, staffing, workforce planning, and employee engagement teams to ensure that AT&T attracts top-tier talent. Her efforts have been pivotal in enhancing the job search experience for transitioning service members and their families. Hailing from San Antonio, JoHanna remains a staunch advocate, forging partnerships across the business to support the military community. JoHanna has become a key stakeholder in AT&T's military and diversity initiatives and has been a DE&I brand ambassador for many years. She successfully led AT&T’s initiative to hire 20,000 veterans by 2020, achieving this milestone over a year ahead of schedule. In 2018, JoHanna attended the Corporate Executive Development Program at Southern Methodist University, where she deeply engaged in educational efforts and advocacy addressing the leadership gap in the Latino community. She has collaborated with various colleagues and leaders within AT&T to highlight and recognize Hispanic/Military talent while promoting advocacy and representation. Her dedication to community support earned her an invitation to join the DFW Hispanic 100, an organization dedicated to increasing Hispanic women's participation in employment, procurement, and social issues. Currently residing in North Texas, JoHanna holds a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. She also served on active duty before being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. A proud baseball mom, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family in San Antonio, shopping for shoes, and living #LifeAtATT.
