Bio

After graduation from West Point, I was commissioned as an Infantry officer in the United States Army. I spent six years in the Army, during which time I deployed to Iraq twice and attended several schools to include Air Assault, Airborne, Ranger, Mechanized Leaders Course, Infantry Officer Basic Course, and Maneuver Captains Career course. After the Army, I spent nearly a decade with Amazon (recruited from SACC) in several roles based in three different states and two countries culminating in a regional management role responsible for AWS infrastructure in the middle east. I currently work for Los Alamos National Laboratory managing the Safeguards division. While working at Amazon, I finished two master’s degrees (M.S. in Information Security Management and M.B.A. in Project Management) and completion Six Sigma (up to Black Belt) certification.
