Bio

Gilbert Saguid is the founder of Veterans Franchise Group (VFG) where he educates, empowers, and connects entrepreneurial minded veterans with franchise business opportunities. Prior to VFG, he founded a technical recruiting company and worked in the technical services industry as a technical sales rep, recruiter, service manager, and field engineer. In the non-profit industry, he is an advisory board member for the organization VET2CEO, where they educate veterans on business ownership. In the military, he was a commissioned active duty and reserve Navy Surface Warfare Officer with experience on amphibious warships and small boat security units with deployments and missions in the 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th fleet area of operations. He was also a prior enlisted submarine Nuclear Machinist Mate onboard USS TUCSON in Pearl Harbor. Gilbert is pursuing his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at University of San Diego and is a recent graduate of University of Southern California’s Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) program.
