Don Selvy graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1985 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. After a tour in the USNA Engineering Department, he reported to Pensacola where he earned his wings as a LAMPS helicopter pilot with tours that followed in east and west coast squadrons. He joined a company supporting Naval Aviation as a Research and Design Engineer in 1993 but continued to serve as a Reserve pilot and an Assistant Chief of Staff at the Office of Naval Research, retiring as a Navy Captain. In 1998 he founded Don Selvy Enterprises, Inc (DSE) to provide aviation and training system engineering services and continues to helm DSE as its President and CEO. DSE employs over 40 personnel supporting over 7 program offices and multiple field activities where they provide engineering, training, acquisition and program management services.
