CDR Dave Babcock, USN (Ret.) /Navy Mutual Military Affairs Liaison and Educator Dave Babcock joined Navy Mutual full-time in 2021 as part of the Education and Veterans Services (EdVS) Department serving as the Military Affairs Liaison. Prior to 2021, he was supporting Navy Mutual as a contract services educator since 2005. He specializes in active duty and retired servicemember survivor benefits education. Dave served 23 years as a Navy pilot following graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy. He most recently completed over 25 years Department of the Navy (DoN) civilian service. His last Navy civilian assignment was serving as the Executive Director for the DoN command that coordinates Navy-based foreign military training and education program for over 15,000 international military students from more than 150 worldwide partner nations annually. He works remotely for Navy Mutual out of Gulf Breeze, FL.
