Bio

Gilbert Saguid is the founder of Veterans Franchise Group (VFG) where he educates, empowers, and connects entrepreneurial minded veterans with franchise business opportunities. Prior to VFG, he founded a technical recruiting company and worked in the technical services industry as a technical sales rep, recruiter, service manager, and field engineer. In the military, he was a commissioned active duty and reserve Navy Surface Warfare Officer with experience on amphibious warships and small boat security units with deployments and missions in the 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th fleet area of operations. He was also a prior enlisted submarine Nuclear Machinist Mate onboard USS TUCSON in Pearl Harbor. Gilbert is a Ph.D. student at the University of San Diego and is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) program.
