Monica Kerber’s career story- recently published in On Fire At Work by Eric Chester, captures her relentless spirit for growth and impact. Monica is a Colorado native and a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Speech Communication with concentrations in theory and media. Prior to starting Kerber Consulting LLC in 2011, she has held various roles with the Northwestern Mutual with unprecedented results and accelerated growth. Kerber’s insatiable appetite to grow led her to create the first Chief Recruiting Officer role. As the first national recruiting officer, Monica drove a vision of supporting recruiters and teams in their career development; her successes include: A top 10-recruiting agency, a certified coach, a graduate and member of Dr. Robert Cooper’s Accelerated Growth/Exceptional Leaders group. She led the country to #1 in the company in financial advisors retention and productivity (2011 and 2012). Kerber, is an expert at interpretation and coaching of the Harrison assessment and is a certified Team Clock Consultant. Beyond leadership, Kerber Consulting’s expertise areas include top caliber talent attraction and retention, training of advisors and their teams, C-level executive coaching and strategic consultation. Kerber speaks, travels and trains nationally- some of her clients include: Northwestern Mutual, Allstate, New York Life, Cooper Strategic, FOCUS and NOVUS Clothing Co. to name a few. When not working, Monica enjoys her time with family; an avid lover of working out with the Peloton Nation @MamacitaMalbec, cooking, camping, four-wheeling in the mountains on their Ranch; Tarryall’s Treasure. She volunteers with her church and in her community. She has served on several boards: A Beautiful Scar Project, and supports Brent’s Place and the Morgan Adams Foundation, she served in several officer positions within her children’s elementary school on PTA and is currently an active board member with NOVUS Clothing Co. Monica is an independent consultant and manager with Arbonne International and finds joy in helping others create healthy living from the inside out and in coaching others in their life’s work. She is married to Kevin since 2003 and they live in Denver with two furbabies Sergio and Stella and their children Emma (14), Wyatt (12) and Hazel who they miscarried in 2014.
