The Inventory Planner position is responsible for support of the strategy and process to optimize inventory and capacity profitably across the team, including ownership over the Major accounts portion of the Wholesale segment. Working collaboratively, coordinating inventory process deliverables, providing oversight and detailed evaluation of inventory plans to improve their quality and achieve targets. Must understand the key business metrics (Revenue, Margin, Availability, Forward cover, Sell thru, Turn, Productivity, Traffic, Conversion, ATS) and are able to prepare and present summarized views of performance, articulating risks and opportunity. This cross functional role works across multiple seasons at the same time (up to 18-24 months ahead) driving mutually beneficial improvements to our financial results and consumer experience. Key accountabilities: Retail Inventory & Replenishment Strategy, Product Availability visibility, Inventory Transparency, Receipt Plan/Contract Strategy & Process, Outlet Revenue & Margin, Retail Capacity/Space mapping & productivity improvement.

Assist in the process development & execution to secure and allocate inventory for the Wholesale Inventory segment.
Assist in the creation of the wholesale inventory strategy, taking into account the Major Accounts inventory needs.
Provide insights on replenishment for the major accounts based POS inventory information.
Develop consumable reporting to provide visibility and transparency to Inventory levels, including availability, forward cover, Sell-thru, projected liability, contract/ATP consumption, turn, replen settings, store space/capacity
Provide recommendations on best practice for the Planning Tool ‘Channel Inventory’ module to drive optimal Receipt/Contract quantity and flow from the planners Revenue need.
Liaison point between Demand Planning, DC logistics, & Sales Ops providing high level information on projected shipment unit volumes
Prepare hindsight analysis to identify opportunities for future plans and strategies partnering with Merchandiser(s) & Planners to disseminate key takeaways
Establish cross-functional relationships to promote best practices and process adherence; fosters collaboration and teamwork.
Participate in and initiate additional projects as directed by Demand Planning Leadership, looking to improve reporting, process, and consumer experience.
Bachelor's Degree Required in Related Field
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a planning, inventory, or forecasting field

Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management and external partners
