Description:

The Quality Assurance Engineer will collaborate with multiple teams and product owners to develop test plans and test automation to support Carhartt’s Direct to Consumer and Carhartt Company Gear web/mobile applications. The Lead Quality Assurance Engineer will lead QA reporting and accountability efforts working with development managers across multiple development teams. In this role, the candidate is expected to work independently with little supervision, to have excellent organization and problem-solving skills, and to have hands-on experience in quality assurance and agile methodologies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Lead creation of QA Artifacts which includes creating test plans, test cases, regression scripts, and test reports 
Design, document, and implement automated tests to support full application regression testing 
Develop, modify, and execute automated scripts and programs for testing 
Lead/own QA effort for applications/projects, certifying and signing off on functional/project code releases 
Track ongoing project/release status/quality and create weekly reports 
Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software and reporting out on code/release quality 
Use bug tracking software to record bugs and specific test results 
Develop and maintain application quality and code quality KPIs 
Record and document test results and compare to expected results 
Actively participate in scrums, grooming sessions and sprint retrospectives 


Education

Bachelor's Degree Required in Computer Science or Related Field
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience with web application development teams in a Quality Assurance role for web and mobile applications 
Demonstrated knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, and Jenkins to integrate the automation scripts 
Experience with web application test automation tools and processes such as JUnit and Selenium Webdriver 
Experience in Test Planning, execution, tracking tool 
Familiarity with programming languages 
Working knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases 
Familiarity with Agile software development processes 
Effectively communicate with end users to accurately identify and resolve defects/bugs that arise 
Actively participate on an Agile team testing products with rapidly evolving requirements  
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, including a strong commitment to follow-up, follow-through, collaborate with cross-functional teams and a sense of urgency  
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
Strong written and verbal communication
